Please make sure you read ALL policies below before you book your appointment at SOHA artistry of hair.
As we are a small business that relies on commitment and consistency, effective of 28.2.24 we are implementing mandatory Booking Fees for all appointments at SOHA artistry of hair. These policies are in place to protect our business, staff and clients who value and respect their appointment with us.
BOOKING FEE POLICIES: 1. We require a $100 booking fee at the time of booking, (unless your service value is less than $100), this payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. This payment needs to be paid to secure your appointment. 2. The booking fee will be deducted from the final total cost of the service on the day of the appointment. 3. If you give us 48 hours notice to cancel/reschedule your deposit will not be refunded, however can be used as a credit for future appointments.
CHANGE OF SERVICE: 4. If you are booked in for a particular service (for example; a full head of foils, toner & style cut finish) but then change your mind to have a shorter service ( fore example; no foils but just have a style cut and finish ) on the arrival of your appointment or within 48 hours of your appointment. This is still considered as a last minute cancellation. 5. This is still time we book specifically to perform the service and when changed last minute we don’t have enough time to fill that spot which results in costing the business money.
CONFIRMATION: 6. Text messages are sent four days prior to your appointment, please reply a simple “Y” to confirm ‘no’ to cancel or call the salon on 0466 105 520, to reschedule your appointment. Please do not reply with any personal messages. It is an automated system. 7. If we do not get a response within 24 hours of your initial message, a second confirmation message will be sent three days prior. Failure to respond by the end of that day, we will attempt a phone call and/or text to confirm. 8. If we still cannot still get in contact 48hours before your appointment, your booking may be cancelled, and your booking fee will be forfeited. 9. Tuesday appointments will have a confirmation message on Friday or Saturday before end of salon hours to confirm the appointment. Failure to confirm may result in the appointment being cancelled and your booking fee will be forfeited.
CANCELATIONS AND NO SHOWS: 10. If you: 11. Cancel Within 48hours of; or 12. Do not show up to; or 13. Arrive late by 15minutes or more to your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited. 14. Cancellations within 48 business hours of the appointment incur a 50% fee of the service booked, or the full cost of the appointment. Subject to change. 15. Cancellations are only accepted in person, online, SMS or by phone call during business hours. Please note the salon is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Our social media platforms are not self-managed, therefore all enquires including but not limited to cancellations and rescheduling will not be attended to by our team.
QUOTES & PRICING: 16. All prices include GST. All are subject to variation without notice. To get a personalised quote, pease schedule a free consultation. 17. Prices displayed are a guide only, exact quotes cannot be given via phone, SMS, social media or email and are only confirmed in salon upon consultation with a designated or chosen stylist.
REDO/ADJUSTMENTS: 18. If you are dissatisfied with your results please call the salon directly. Our team will be happy to make small tweaks and adjustments within 7 days or less of your hair appointment. 19. Redos are not provided if you “change your mind” or do not follow home hair care recommendations. If your request is reasonable, we will do all that we need to fix any error in quality. 20. These services are complimentary unless we do new work that is outside what was discussed and agreed upon prior to your original appointment commencing. 21. Please note; concerns outside our 7 day period will be considered a regular appointment and will be charged accordingly. 22. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within 1 week of the original service by phone call or in person.
REFUNDS: 23. For cancellations only, the booking fee may be refunded if more than 48hours’ notice is given to the salon. 24. We will not offer a refund if you simply change your mind about the service received or product purchased.
MAINTAINING RECORDS: 25. Our salon is committed about the privacy and confidentiality of personal and sensitive information. We ensure legal compliance by handling, protecting, and maintaining the security of information acquired from you. 26. We are not responsible for the collection, distribution, and handling of your personal and sensitive information by anyone who is not employed by our salon. 27. It is your responsibility to notify us of changes regarding personal contact details. 28. If a clause applies that obliges you to pay, you must do so immediately.
GUARANTEES: 29. Our highly trained technicians provide professional results using the finest products available. SOHA artistry of hair cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home care products purchased from SOHA artistry of hair or if you swim regularly.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFTEY: 30. Due to QLD’s strict OH&S laws, all children under the age of 18 that are not receiving a service must remain seated on the front waiting chair or at a station and are not permitted to be on the salon floor. We work with hazardous chemicals, sharp and very hot tools, your Childs safety is important to us, and it should be to you too. 31. We ask that children under the age of 18 are always accompanied in the salon by adults and carefully monitored. If possible avoid bringing a plus one such as children, family or friends as we get quite busy and want all our clients to have an enjoyable experience while in salon. 32. Be advised that personal items are your responsibility, and the salon will not be held liable for any personal items that are lost or damaged.
PREPARING FOR YOUR APPT: 33. We kindly ask that mobile phones and other devices are on silent. You are welcome to use them during your time with us but as our main focus of making every client feel relaxed and pampered we ask they be silent to keep the beautiful atmosphere we have. 34. Please make sure to arrive with clean hair, shampooed within 48hours before your service. Avoid using excessive products such as dry shampoo, hair spray etc. 35. We also kindly ask that you do not attend with your hair wet. This can cause delays in the schedule and on the rare occasion irritation.
