Before Booking at SOHA Artistry of Hair Please read the following policies before securing your appointment.
As a small business, we rely on consistency and commitment. Effective 28.2.24, a $50 non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee is required for all appointments (unless your service is under $50). This amount will go toward your final service cost.
Booking Policies: 48 hours’ notice is required for changes. Cancellations within this window can use the fee as a credit. Changing to a shorter service within 48 hours of your appointment is considered a late cancellation, as time has already been reserved.
Confirmations: You’ll receive a text 4 days prior. Reply “Y” to confirm, or contact us to cancel or reschedule. No confirmation within 48 hours may result in cancellation and forfeited booking fee.
Late, Cancelled, or Missed Appointments: Cancellations within 48 hours, late arrivals (15+ mins), or no-shows will forfeit the booking fee and may be charged 50–100% of the service fee. Cancellations must be made during business hours via phone, text, online, or in person. Social media is not monitored for bookings.
Quotes & Pricing: Prices include GST and are subject to change. Accurate quotes can only be given in-person during a consultation.
Redo Policy: As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within one (1) week of the original service by phone call or in person. Adjustments are available within 7 days if you’re unhappy with results (excluding change-of-mind or failure to follow care instructions).
Refunds: Booking fees are only refundable if more than 48 hours’ notice is provided. We do not refund for change-of-mind.
Privacy & Records: Your data is handled securely. Please keep your contact details up to date.
Results Guarantee: Results are only guaranteed if using SOHA-recommended home care.
Health & Safety: Children under 18 not receiving a service must stay seated and be supervised. Please avoid bringing guests when possible. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
Appointment Prep: Phones on silent, please. Arrive with clean, dry hair (washed within 48 hrs, no heavy styling products).
